Representatives for Lamont Roach have sent a legal letter to the New York State Athletic Commission, asking for the result of his majority draw with Gervonta Davis to be overturned. In the ninth round of their contest at Barclays Center last Saturday, Davis took a knee after receiving a left jab to the face but blamed the incident on grease from his hair getting into his eye.
