Unbeaten heavyweight Bakhodir Jalolov has signed a multi-year promotional deal with Top Rank, Carl Moretti confirmed to The Ring late Saturday night.

ESPN’s Mike Coppinger was the first to break the news.

Jalolov joins a stable of young and unbeaten heavyweights that are promoted or co-promoted by Top Rank, including Jared Anderson and Arslanbek Makhmudov, both of whom defeated their respective opponents Saturday.

Top Rank also promotes Richard Torrez, whom Jalolov defeated in the gold medal final of the 2021 Olympic Games, and Antonio Mireles.

The 28-year-old (12-0, 12 knockouts), who is originally from Sariosiyo, Uzbekistan and now resides in Brooklyn, New York, has not fought since knocking out gatekeeper Curtis Harper in the fourth round on November 26.

In recent months, Jalolov has fought in amateur tournaments in Uzbekistan.

Moretti, who is Top Rank’s Vice President of Boxing Operations, told The Ring that Jalolov will return to action in late August.

The 6’7” Jalolov, who fought under the DiBella Entertainment banner prior to signing with Top Rank, is managed by Vadim Kornilov, who also manages WBA world light heavyweight titleholder Dmitrii Bivol, former unified junior featherweight titleholder Murodjon Akhmadaliev, and junior middleweight contender Israil Madrimov.

Jalolov made his pro debut in May 2018.
